Add to your healthy meal repertoire with new recipes that are quick and easy to make and delicious too!\nYou will learn basic cooking\, chopping\, prepping skills as well as how to cook efficiently when making sheet pan meals. The techniques you learn for these recipes will translate well into future recipes as well so that you can master low effort\, healthy meals. \nIn this class\, you will learn to cook the following sheet pan meals: \n\n\nChicken Fajitas\n\n\nMiso Sweet Potatoes and Chicken Thighs\n\n\nLemon and Dill Broccoli and Salmon\n\n\nThis is not a recipe based class. You will learn the basics of sheet pan meals so that you can feel confident cooking without following a recipe. \nThis is a hands on class where you are able to ask questions as we go. \nWe will finish off class with a group dinner where we will eat what we have prepared together.

Sunday\, March 30th from 1PM-4PM\nYou’ll join Seamus Platt of Norcino Salumi at The Skagit Table as he butchers a local\, pastured hog carcass and discusses the various techniques involved. Discussion will include tools and maintenance\, applications and cooking of specific cuts\, and creative uses of trim and bones for a zero-waste experience. \nCurious about how a whole pig gets butchered into primal and smaller cuts? Learn how to butcher a pig in this butchery class! All your questions will be answered about specific retail cuts you see at the store or your favorite restaurant\, or which cuts are used for sausage. This class is open to all skill levels\, so even if you have some experience in this world you can learn more about curing applications and the art of charcuterie! \n\nYou’ll join Seamus Platt of Norcino Salumi at The Skagit Table as he butchers a local\, pastured hog carcass and discusses the various techniques involved. Discussion will include tools and maintenance\, applications and cooking of specific cuts\, and creative uses of trim and bones for a zero-waste experience. \n\nThis is a fantastic way to support your local farmers and producers while learning a new skill. If you’re looking for exciting experience gift ideas or are curious about butchery basics\, this is both a fun and informative workshop! \n\nSnacks will be served (included in the ticket price).
