Description

Interested in making fresh sausage at home? Or just curious to see how the sausage is made? In this sausage-making class at The Skagit Table, we will discuss the technique and theory behind making quality fresh sausages using local pastured pork and 100% natural pork casings.

We will discuss, cut, grind, mix, and stuff two different varieties and guests will get to take their sausage creations home. Also covered will be equipment used, pork quality, and cooking methods.

You will be split into two teams – each assigned a sausage variety to create as a team. Varieties covered will include classic natural casing Italian and spicy calabrian sausages.

This is an interactive class and we will be handling meat and other food products. There is no minimum skill level! All are welcome to attend! Whether you’re looking to learn the basics of sausage making or you want to treat a friend or family member to a unique experience gift idea, this informative and engaging class will make for a memorable experience!

You are encouraged to shop at the hosting venue after class. There will be a limited amount of Norcino Salumi products for sale. Guests will take their creations home, at least 4-5 lb of handmade sausage links.
