Courtney Bourasaw – Owner/Chef
I’ve always had a passion for cooking. Not only did I discover that I was good at it, but I also realized early on how much joy my cooking brought to others. It wasn’t until 2012 that I recognized my love for culinary arts could become a career. I attended Skagit Valley College, where I gained invaluable knowledge that shaped my journey through the culinary world. There, I embraced farm-to-table cooking and learned to work with the freshest ingredients. This beautiful valley has truly revitalized my culinary spirit.
In my personal life, I prioritize foods that promote health and combat disease. While processed foods are everywhere and my diet isn’t perfect, I understand the importance of high-quality ingredients—and I believe everyone deserves access to them.
I am passionate about educating others about their food choices. Many people aspire to improve their culinary skills, but not everyone knows how to start. For those who need guidance on sourcing or preparing ingredients, I’m here to help.

Kasey – Kitchen Manager
After raising four beautiful children and building on my love for teaching others, serving people, and cooking tasty, wholesome food, it was time to turn what I love doing into a career. Over the last 7 years, I have built my own business, delivered meals, and catered magnificent events. Managed school programs, church ministries, and served the communities of Marysville and Stanwood. The last few years I worked as Executive Sous Chef in Snohomish for a popular restaurant. Working in a fast and high-volume restaurant was a great experience and a joy, but I needed to find something that was a better fit for my family and I. The Skagit Table found me and captured my attention with its offerings of wholesome, fresh foods. I know it is just where I’m supposed to be to serve others and the surrounding community.

Rachel – Catering Manager
As a Chicago-born gal from the Midwest, my love language has always been big food, fair season, and 60 degree nights at the end of Summer. I moved to Washington in the height of Covid with nothing but my little U-Haul and my kitty, Max. Fast-forward 5 years later, I now spend most of my time with a coffee in-hand chasing my adventurous 2 year old around. Although my educational background lies in marketing and graphic design, my true passion has always been seeking something bigger – in travel, in food, in personalities.
